Additional info

I have included two attachments:

First, downtown employers are invited to an event at the from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Feb. 21 at the Central Library. This is a chance to learn about what is happening this summer with the I-35W Minneapolis project and the benefits and impacts on downtown Minneapolis.

MnDOT staff and others will be on hand to provide information about the I-35W project and other MnDOT projects. You can learn about alternatives to driving during the project. Staff from Metro Transit, Move Minneapolis, eWorkplace will be on hand.

The second attachment is a new fact sheet about the I-35W Downtown to Crosstown project. Please feel free to distribute it to your employees, tenants, residents, members, customers and anyone else.

We have added information about a full weekend closure of I-35W in Minneapolis from Highway 62 to I-94. This is tentatively scheduled for early March. We will have more information as the date gets more firm.

We have started to contact organizations that will be affected by some of the work on I-35W@94 and the second year of I-94 Minneapolis to Brooklyn Center. If your group would like to schedule a meeting, please let me know.

This list will continue to update MnDOT projects in Minneapolis and Hennepin County ; mostly I-94 Minneapolis to Brooklyn Center and I-35W@94 Downtown to Crosstown. If you know someone who should be added, please send their name and email address. If you would like to be removed, please let me know.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
