Portland and Cedar avenues to close Monday, May 8, for greenway bridge reconstruction

Starting Monday, May 8, Portland Avenue (County Road 35) and Cedar Avenue (County Road 152) in Minneapolis will close between 28th Street and Lake Street as reconstruction of the two bridges over the Midtown Greenway begins.
Both bridges will be closed to all road traffic for the duration of the project. Work is expected to last one construction season and be significantly complete with the road reopened by December this year. See detour information below.
